Senior Men’s League

The Senior Men’s League at Sheffield Greens is a opportunity for camaraderie and competition, running each Wednesday for 20 weeks from May to September. With a friendly shotgun start at 9 am, members will enjoy 9 holes of engaging golf, divided into two flights based on handicaps to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all.

Each week features a Stroke Play game where points are awarded and accumulated, fostering a spirited competitive atmosphere. Prize money awaits each week, including those for closest to the pin, low net, low gross scores, and chip-ins, alongside the option to participate in the skins competition for even more thrills. After each round, handicaps are promptly updated, allowing members with a handicap of 11 or lower to vie for both a Low Net and Low Gross Winner, while those with a handicap of 12 or higher compete for the same honors.

As time permits through the season other golf games are mixed in between matches.
